The word baggage can be taken so many different ways. You carry baggage while traveling. You or someone close to you carries a ton of emotional baggage. Some might consider a divorced mom with kids to have 'baggage' and I am completely offended by that one.
What baggage to I carry around. I've been on numerous trips. I've crossed the Atlantic ocean 10 times. I've traveled to the Caribbean two times, and I've been to Las Vegas. On all trips I've needed to carry lot's of baggage. Clothing for me, my babe, my man.. extras like toiletries, medicines, and presents for those we were vising.
I've got enough emotional baggage to scare you away from me. Not that I should bring it up, but believe me it's there. And I know that most all the people in the world carry around a little backpack of it. My baggage seems so insignificant compared to others, yet it breaks my back and weights me down.
Enough about that. Moving on, I bought Z a beautiful set of Samsonite luggage for his birthday last year, so that when we travel, we will travel in style.
And, for all of you who have ever lost baggage, luggage, whatever... there is a site you should see.
Happy Sunday! Read more scribblings here.

How true that everyone has at least "a little backpack they carry around." Well put!

Imagine writing yourself a real honest profile on one of those dating websites. When my friends tell me to sign up on Lava or something to find a guy, I laugh, and ask them what I should write: "40+ year old single mom living with two disabled, elderly, difficult parents ..and one cat ... looking for ...". Ha! Where would the lineups start with my "baggage". And, yes, in the case of loved ones, I too hate that term.

Bella, if I can meet the love of my life online, divorced, two kids and have a fatal illness, anyone can. LOL

Hey Dusanka, If it worked for Terry (who has an awesome site, BTW) it could work for you.
:)

Did somebody say baggage? Umm,queen of baggage here. Actually, I think i'm one of the "happy baggage story" people. I found someone, well lots of people who really don't mind lifting the load sometimes. And for that I am thankful.
