This weeks Sunday Scribblings prompt is: My 2 cents. I wasn't quite sure what to write about because I'm not one to express my 2 cents on much of anything to the rest of the world (all except to my sister). So, I will share with you all my 2 cents worth of advice or little pieces of wisdom I've picked up along my lifetime.
- Laughter is always the best medicine. If you're heart is breaking, if your spirit is fading, if you're in that deep dark place you don't want to be in... laughing out loud or laughing really hard with a good friend could really brighten your day.
- Live each day, each moment with meaning, like it was your last. It could very well be your last because nothing is for sure, but if it's not, you will have fond memories to look back on.
- Hug your children every day as much as you can, and let them know they are loved. Give them room to breathe and space to grow while watching from a distance.
- This one is so true: Don't put off today what you can do tomorrow. You're better off doing it now.
- Look at yourself in the mirror and find something about your appearance to love. There is so much about you that is beautiful that you may not see. Study yourself and learn to love yourself. Or a part of yourself.
- Good friends, good food, good conversation, good wine... Nothing beats it. Throw a dinner party for a few good friends once in a while.
- With anything in life, when one door closes, a new one opens. Usually a better one.
- Don't sweat the small stuff, life is too damn short.
- Travel as much as you can, see the world, see different people, experience how they live.
- Know what's going on in the world, keep up with the news - know that our world isn't perfect and that we're melting and people are dying. Do one small thing to help. It may not save the world, but your small hands can help heal.
- Smoking is bad!!! As a smoker, I say to you all: Don't start, it's a hard habit to break.
- Pinch your significant other's behind every once in a while. Keep the romantic spark alive. Romance should not go down the drain, ever. Let those flames keep on burning.
- Take a gamble or a risk at least once.
- Learn from your mistakes.. as Oprah says, when you know better, you do better - I believe that's a Maya Angelou quote.
- Read, read, read... and read some more.
- Try new foods, new drinks.. be daring.
- Experiment with your looks, your make up, your hair, your clothes.
- Finally - Smile as much as you can. Say hello to a passerby. Be kind, be giving, love others and treat others as you would like to be treated.

love this list!

What a beautiful list, Bella. I'm going to print it out and keep it by me at work this week so I remember to keep all things in life in perspective!

All wise words girlfriend! I haven't been on the computer much so I'm trying to catch up today, before a friend arrives.
I'm always trying new looks or trying to incorporate old looks into new ones. (=
