Over at Create a Connection, Krista says:
"I think it might be somewhat empowering to actually physically take a box, and fill it with representations of "things everyone thinks you should've done" and photograph it. Further empowering would be to follow it with a picture of "things you've wanted to do all along."
This to me seemed like a great idea, only I thought that for myself, it would be more productive to fill a box with wishes for myself and my family for the new year. Next year, when I peek into the box, I hope to see that most or all of my wishes have come true.
Here is a tiny glimpse into our box:
When I say "our", it means that someone else had their own wishes for the new year:

This is a great idea! My daughter LOVES hello kittie too!

Fabulous idea! (I registered a 7th grader this week...newly arrived from Korea...and as adorable as she is, her little sister is even cuter...and was outfitted head-to-toe in pink, carrying a Hello Kitty diary. So cute!)

that is a perfect project to do with your girl ~ I love that it's like a time capsule.

Hi, Your on my favorite peeps list. I was tagged to write 6 weird things about myself which I did. Having posted the "6 weird things" I was instructed to tag 6 more people. Hope you don't mind but I've tagged you. All you have to do is do a post 6 weird things about yourself, then choose 6 other people to tag, mention them in your post and leave a comment telling them they have been tagged. The full rules are on my blog.
Thought you might like to play, but only do it if you want to.
